See the Appellate Division in Action in Woodbury Next Tuesday

Most Appellate Division oral arguments occur in Trenton, Newark, Morristown, and Hackensack, though in recent years, panels have been sitting regularly in places such as Jersey City, New Brunswick, and Toms River. Periodically, however, the Appellate Division goes on tour to other locations, in order to allow the public in different parts of New Jersey easier access to oral arguments in person.

As stated here, on October 22, the Appellate Division will be sitting in the Old Gloucester County Courthouse in Woodbury, making use of the distinguished ceremonial courtroom there. The hearing panel will consist of Judges Hoffman, Currier, and Firko. The notice states that six appeals will be heard there, but the court’s calendar lists only five (one case may have been resolved in the interim). Either way, members of the public in South Jersey will be able to watch Appellate Division proceedings live and in person in Woodbury next week.
