Judges Firko and Natali Are Temporarily Assigned to the Appellate Division

Chief Justice Rabner has announced that Judges Lisa A. Firko and Arnold L. Nitali, Jr., have been temporarily assigned to the Appellate Division.  Both judges will serve in the Appellate Division, on Parts to be designated by the Appellate Division’s Presiding Judge for Administration, beginning on April 16 and continuing through June 24.

Judge Firko, a graduate of Seton Hall University and Seton Hall University School of Law, took the bench in Bergen County in 2008 after a lengthy career at Lum, Drasco & Positan, where she was a partner.  She has sat in the Civil Division and the Family Part, and is currently in Family.  She received tenure in 2015.

Judge Natali, whose undergraduate degree is from Fairfield University and is also a Seton Hall Law School graduate, was a partner at McCarter & English when Governor Christie appointed him to the bench in Middlesex County in 2013.  He too sat in Civil and Family until March 2017, when he became the Presiding Judge of General Equity.  Judge Natali will not come up for tenure until 2020.
