The Supreme Court announced today that it has granted review in State v. Anthony. The question presented, as phrased by the Supreme Court Clerk’s office, is “Is defendant entitled to a new trial based on the police officer’s failure to record verbatim the comments of the witness while identifying defendant from a photographic array?” The Law Division ruled against defendant on this issue, and the Appellate Division, in an unpublished per curiam opinion, affirmed.
