Chief Justice Rabner announced today that, effective August 1, 2013, Judges Carroll and Leone will be elevated to the Appellate Division. Both of those judges had been temporarily assigned to the Appellate Division earlier this year. The Order issued by Chief Justice Rabner, and the General Assignment Order, which includes all assignments for the Term that begins on September 1, 2013, both state that these are temporary assignments. The press releases issued by the Court, however, do not contain that qualification.
